Congratulations to all of the Blessed Sacrament Parish family on our 100th anniversary celebration. Bishop Parkes celebrated Mass yesterday morning along with Father David Koetter (current Pastor of BSC), Father Meza, and former Pastors Bishop Kevin Boland, and Msgr. William O’Neill.
Bishop Parkes homily was poignant and and perfect for the day. He also presented a “Key” to the parish for Fr. David to continue unlocking hearts within our community bringing us even closer together.
Afterwards we unveiled the next 3 panels in our History Wall and enjoyed a small reception to mark the day. If you did not get a copy of the Commemorative Program please stop by the Parish Office to pick up your free copy. The program highlights the past 100 years of Blessed Sacrament in full color.
THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and to the Centennial Celebration Committee for all of their planning and coordinating of several events throughout 2020. COVID may have caused havoc on some our plans, but it did not crush our spirit! We have persevered and will continue our mission well into the future. Our faith is thriving in this place and we are excited about the next 100 years.
