The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) begins with their entry into the catechumenate and reaches its culmination in a single celebration of the three sacraments of initiation:
- Baptism which is the beginning of new life;
- Confirmation which is its strengthening; and
- Holy Eucharist which nourishes us as disciples with Jesus’ Body and Blood for our transformation in Christ.
RCIA meets on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the school lecture hall. The class begins in September each year and concludes on the second Wednesday after Easter. This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and its rich traditions. These classes also offer those already of the Catholic faith a chance to learn more about their Faith and have questions answered.
Classes started on September 18, 2018! But it’s never to late to join us! If you’d like to learn more about the Catholic Faith, please contact Brandon Wallace or simply attend our RCIA sessions. CONVERSION NOT REQUIRED! 🙂
