The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) begins with their entry into the catechumenate and reaches its culmination in a single celebration of the three sacraments of initiation:
- Baptism which is the beginning of new life;
- Confirmation which is its strengthening; and
- Holy Eucharist which nourishes us as disciples with Jesus’ Body and Blood for our transformation in Christ.
RCIA meets on Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the school lecture hall. The class begins in September each year and concludes on the second Wednesday after Easter. This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and its rich traditions. These classes also offer those already of the Catholic faith a chance to learn more about their Faith and have questions answered.
New classes begin Tuesday, September 24, 2024 (7-8:30 PM-Lecture Hall). Please contact Brandon Wallace or simply attend our RCIA sessions. CONVERSION NOT REQUIRED! 🙂
