Because of the widespread and growing incidence of people becoming ill with the flu, Father Brannen has suspended the practice of offering the Precious Blood to members of the congregation at Mass. This suspension will be in effect until there is evidence that the flu season is over.
Father Brannen also suggests that caution be taken in physical contact at the greeting of peace, so that germs are not spread by hand-to-hand contact.
