Jr. CYO leader and Blessed Sacrament Parishioner, Catherine Richie will dedicate her life through the sacred Rite of Consecration on March 24, 2018, at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist at 11:30 a.m. ALL ARE INVITED TO ATTEND this very special celebration. From a very young age Ms. Richie knew that she “wanted to do something with her life for God.” The Rite of Consecration will allow Ms. Richie to fulfill her dream as she publicly embraces serving God in totality, living the lifestyle of a consecrated virgin, beholding the Blessed Virgin Mary as her model. During the ceremony Bishop Hartmayer will place a ring on her finger as an outward symbol of her commitment to God making her a “mystical bride of Christ” and signifying her consecrated state of being.
