Welcome Bishop-Elect Stephen Parkes

On July 8, 2020 Diocesan Administrator, Fr. Daniel Firmin, shared the wonderful news that we have a new Bishop-Elect.  We are blessed and honored to announce that Father Stephen Parkes , a priest of the Diocese of Orlando, has been named the 15th bishop of Savannah. We are deeply grateful to our Holy Father for this gift to our diocese. His ordination and installation will be at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, September 23rd, the Feast of Saint Padre Pio.
